Bellamy being beaten up by his sister is wrong on so many levels. It’s domestic violence. I don’t care what Bellamy did. He does not deserve this. If the roles would be reversed, people would line up to crucify Bellamy for beating O up. But since she is a woman, people think is ok for her to do that to him. It’s not. Bellamy deserves to be punished for what he did, yes. But this is not the way to accomplish that. Chaining someone up and beating them to a bloody pulp is not justice, it is not retribution. As a domestic abuse survivor, I feel disgusted. And more by some people’s reactions to the scene than the scene itself. I can deal with fictional story lines that I don’t agree with and that make me sick to my stomach. But I cannot deal with people believing this is in any way right. It says something about you and I don’t think you should be following me in that case. Bellamy is being abused by his sister and he is not even defending himself. If you applaud that, I feel sorry for you.
