Advice to myself: if you are upset, it is okay to be sad. It is okay to lay in bed all day. It is okay to cry on the bathroom floor. You are human. You are raw. You are real. You are vulnerable. Suppressing your emotions will not make them disappear. But do not stay sad for longer than necessary. Do not stand still forever. Make sure you get out of bed and brush your teeth. Take a shower and wash your face. Get to the gym. Nourish your body and drink your water. It’s okay to let yourself swim through your emotions, but never let yourself drown. You are one hell of a human and I am so proud of you - even on your weakest days.
