February Flash Fic Contest

thanks to @rashaka for the suggestion we try something like this!

What: 48 hours to write & submit a drabble based off the given prompt. Drabbles will be required to be between 200-500 words. The submissions will be compiled for mass viewing, and then voted on by our followers. note: if there are a large amount of submissions, the viewing and voting will be done in rounds. The top 2-3 from each round will move onto a final round of voting.

When: February 20th @ 1300 EST – check your timezones for accuracy. Submissions will close February 22nd @ 1300 EST.

Notes: Up to two submissions will be allowed per author. The prompt will be given at the opening of the 48 hours – February’s prompt will be chosen by our Features team, subsequent contests prompts will be chosen by the previous months winner.

Winner: Winner will be chosen through a poll, voted on by our followers. The winner will receive a winners banner created by our Graphics Team, bragging rights, the opportunity to choose the Flash Fic prompt for March’s contest, and will receive a spot on our Flash Fic Winner’s page, along with their winning entry.
